Jamiya is operated by Bin Haider Darwish LLC, Muscat, Oman.

Jamiya helps families and friends organise savings circles. This policy explains what we keep and why.

What we store

Your account: a username, display name and a securely hashed password, plus hashed recovery codes. We do not ask for your email or phone number.

Your circles: member names, monthly amounts, the payout schedule, and the contributions, payouts, notes and receipt files you record.

Who can see it

Only people you give access to a circle can see its records. A family viewing link shows the published schedule and agreed monthly amounts, never receipts, bank details or who is behind. Anyone holding a viewing link can open it until you turn it off.

The Jamiya team can see account names and plans to run the service, but not your circle records.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, show advertising, use third-party analytics or trackers, or move money.

Keeping and deleting

Records are kept while your account exists, with daily backups kept for up to 30 days. You can delete a circle or your whole account at any time from the app.
